For over 20 years, LA Opera has produced education and outreach programs that introduce
the joy of opera to tens of thousands of children. Most of these students have very little
access to the arts and many of them have virtually no music education in local schools.
Our award-winning programs have become more and more popular and continue to achieve the highest standards of artistic excellence. This past year, our programs were enjoyed by an all-time high of more than 159,000 students, teachers, and community members from a variety of backgrounds. Many of the students were seeing and hearing opera for the very first time.
